High School DxD was always floating in my periphery, but it wasn’t until recently that I started watching. Our hero, Issei, begins dating a girl he later discovers is a fallen angel. She kills him (because she’s evil? I don’t remember) but not before Issei forms a pact with a devil from his high school. This devil is Rias Gremory, the sexy redhead who leads the Occult Club, which is the front for her campaign to gather underlings. Now a devil himself, Issei joins her crew with aspirations of forming his own harem someday.

Here, Rias wears a flattering all-black outfit, complimented by her striking black devil wings, contrasting white skin, and flaming red hair. She’s removing her right legging as she kneels, which bunches up the clothing and creates a minor but satisfying detail. I like her shiny black boots with their silver buckles as well. The strapless bra and panties are just shy of transparent, but they’re meant to come off anyway.

This figure comes with a hard PVC version, and a “dirty pillows” version with softer bust. I have the hard version. I find the nipples quite nice, painted in contrast to the rest of the skin, and standing erect. Her lower half is not as large as some of my other figures, but it is quite shapely. No vulva here. Overall, there’s a “devilishness” to her pose that’s accentuated by her idealized figure and drooping breasts. She’s not overly sexual in the anime, but she uses her boobs to often motivate Issei.

While Rias is excellently sculpted here, there’s much to be desired of the materials used and the assembly required. Her wings are painted in a matte black that I scratched against her hair, resulting in a red color transfer. They attach to her body through two holes in her back, nearly inaccessible without removing her head–which creates other problems, as positioning her flowing locks around the wings was hard enough that I needed YouTube videos on the subject. The bra’s black color left smudges on the breasts and left nipple; the latter should be visible in photos. And attaching Rias’s head to her body meant her hair would sometimes scrape her shoulders, again resulting in a color transfer. Beautiful figure, but weird to put together.

With a pretty face and teasing form, this Yuuwako no Himegimi version of Rias Gremory was a good find, even though the manufacturing flaws leave room for improvement. Enjoy the pics below! I had fun with this one.
